Malta proudly took part in the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) held in Skopje, Macedonia, marking another important step forward for Maltese Taekwondo on the international stage. Representing Malta in this prestigious youth event were two young athletes from the Malta Taekwondo Association's elite development programme: Alycia Cassar and Michela Scerri.

ITL’s Alycia Cassar was the sole athlete taking part in Zapresic’s E2 tournament dubbed the ‘Zapresic Noble E2 Tournament’, held on the 7th June, 2025.

A few years ago, not many would have thought Malta had the potential to tear it up on the European stage. But luckily, two young kids, three cadets, and two coaches had something to say about that.
