Malta proudly took part in the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) held in Skopje, Macedonia, marking another important step forward for Maltese Taekwondo on the international stage. Representing Malta in this prestigious youth event were two young athletes from the Malta Taekwondo Association's elite development programme: Alycia Cassar and Michela Scerri.

ITL’s Michela Scerri made history again with her second placed finish at the E3 qualifier for the ETU Grand Prix, meaning that she has now qualified for the Junior Grand Prix finals.

MTA President Anna Vassallo, who is also the current World Taekwondo Vice President and an ETU council member, has been elected vice president of the WT Commonwealth committee.
