This year’s Iron Island Training Camp brought together 105 athletes from 11 countries — Malta, France, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Luxembourg, Israel, Germany, the United Kingdom and Greece — for a truly memorable weekend of high-level training and connection.

The Malta Taekwondo Association (MTA) proudly congratulates its President, Anna Vassallo, on her re-election to the World Taekwondo (WT) Council, following the elections held in Wuxi, China.

Malta proudly took part in the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) held in Skopje, Macedonia, marking another important step forward for Maltese Taekwondo on the international stage. Representing Malta in this prestigious youth event were two young athletes from the Malta Taekwondo Association's elite development programme: Alycia Cassar and Michela Scerri.
